Why Women On Wings Aero?

Across airsports, women+ are present, yet still underrepresented, unseen in leadership, and often facing cultural or safety barriers.

Women On Wings Aero changes that through a structured, evidence-based community that focuses on three pillars:

1. Access to Flying

We remove entry barriers through Women Fly Days, First Wings Scholarships, and a Gear Library that makes learning to fly financially and logistically accessible.

2. Skills & Leadership

We provide Mentorship Hubs, Safety & Confidence Labs, and the Instructor Diversity Accelerator to help women+ progress from beginner to certified instructor and event organiser.

3. Inclusive Culture

We work with clubs, schools and federations to implement Safeguarding Codes, Inclusion Audits, and Event Safety Packs, creating environments where everyone can thrive safely.

By 2030, our goal is to have significantly increased the number of active women+ pilots and instructors across Europe, supported by measurable safety and inclusion standards.

This pre-launch page is only the beginning. On January 1, 2026, the full platform goes live, including regional hubs, programmes, and tools for partners.

  • SkyTalks Online Series, monthly talks by pilots, engineers, and mentors.
  • Mentorship Matching, two annual rounds connecting mentees and mentors.
    Target: 50 participants in Year 1.

  • Safety & Confidence Labs, experiential safety training for instructors.
  • Instructor Diversity Accelerator, coaching more women+ into instructor and organiser roles.
  • Changing Altitudes, content series highlighting female+ leadership in aviation.

  • More Than Launches Audits (Bronze / Silver / Gold), measure inclusiveness and safety.
  • Event Safety Pack, practical tools for hosting inclusive events.
  • Impact Partnership Program, co-branded storytelling and outreach.
    Target: long-term partnerships with 10+ organisations by end 2026.
